Raccoon Fall

Raccoon Fall is a competitive 2v2 arcade game with 2D graphics. The players take control of adventurous raccoons that traverse different interesting locations from top to bottom. To safely reach their destination, racoons tie themselves with a rope, on which they swing from one ledge to another.

("RACE TIME" MODE)

The goal of the game is to reach the bottom of a level by swinging on a rope connected to your teammate.

There are 2 teams made of 2 players and the first one to reach the bottom wins.

Players have to drop alternately from one ledge to another while watching out for their stamina.

If both players start free falling they have 1.5 sec to grab something until they get reset to nearest checkpoint and lose HP.

Losing entire HP resets the team to the beginning of the level.

("RUN AWAY!" MODE)

The goal of the game is to reach the bottom of a level by swinging on a rope connected to your teammate.

Players have to drop alternately from one ledge to another while watching out for their stamina.

There is always something chasing players from the top of the screen.

If both players start free falling they have 1.5 sec to grab something until they get reset to nearest checkpoint and lose HP.

Losing entire HP or letting the chasing wave catch up to a racoon results in a game over.

How to play

 • To start searching for other players – press "RACE TIME"(2v2) or "RUN AWAY!"(2 player coop) button

 • To swing – use A and D key (virtual dpad on the left on mobile)

 • To release/grab a ledge – use space key (tap the right button on mobile)

 • Stamina starts to drop after the first ledge is released.

Stamina information

 • Max stamina is 100 points (represented by the green ring or racoon tail). If depleted, the racoon will release the ledge it's holding.

 • Stamina is being reduced by 10 points per second while the player is holding an object.

 • Stamina is being regenerated at 20 points per second while the player is hanging and swinging.

Health information

 • Max racoon health is 5 points (represented by red racoons in right upper corner).

 • Hitting a red object reduces health by 1 point, and hitting green objects gives back 1 health point.

 • If any player drops to or below 0 health points, both players are reset to the start of the level (or lose in a 2-player coop).

Grab cooldown information

 • Player can grab again after 1 second of releasing a ledge.

 • Ledge grab cooldown is displayed to the right of the stamina ring.

Panic bar information

 • Panic bar is displayed to the left of health ring.

 • Panic bar depletes when both players are falling.

 • It takes 1.5 sec for the panic to deplete and when it does, the players are reset to the nearest checkpoint and lose 1 HP.
